In connection with the development of a new area we are looking for English>Kazakh translators.Place of work – Almaty office.

- Translation experience (preferred in the sphere of information technologies or production engineering)

Translator/Interpreter
Full-time employment (in-office and at home)Language Requirements:
Kazakh – Russian – English permutations.
tri-lingual combinations.
Preferably Kazakh and Russian mother tongues with a linguistic qualification in English.
Duration: 6 months with a possibility to extention
Work Location: Aktau, Kazakhstan
Purpose
To provide verbal and written English, Russian and Kazakh translation of commercial and technical documents for an international oil& gas company based in Aktau:
- Perform quality translation of in electronic format, including further editing and amending using predefined terminology database
- Provide interpretation services at various social, political, community and private events
- Administer the requests for translation from different company offices and route them to translation services providers
- Perform quality check on translations received from translation providers, mainly for Russian and Kazakh language
- Maintain and refine own translation/interpretation skills and professional qualifications
Experience and Qualifications required:
The candidate shall have knowledge of:
- The English, Kazakh and Russian Languages
- At least 3-years professional experience of providing translation/interpretation services
- University graduate (linguistics)
- Preferable experience of Oil & Gas commercial and technical terminology
- Scientific and technical translation techniques
- The grammar and stylistics of the Kazakh, Russian and English languages
